Four quadrants are present in a circle.
"X" and "Y" are positive in 1st quadrant.
"X" is negative and "Y" is positive in 2nd quadrant.
"X" is positive and "Y" is negative in 3rd quadrant .
"X" and "Y" are negative in 4th quadrant.
Using the mirror reflection logic
- In 1st quadrant take a point (x,y).
- (x,y) is mirrored with respect to X-axis getting (x,-y).
- (x,y) is mirrored with respect to Y-axis getting (-x,y).
- (-x,y) is mirrored with respect to X-axis getting (-x,-y).
- In 1st quadrant take a point (y,x)
- (y,x) is mirrored with respect to X-axis getting (y,-x).
- (y,x) is mirrored with respect to Y-axis getting (-y,x).
- (-y,x) is mirrored with respect to X-axis getting (-y,-x).
We can form a complete circle by joining the eight previous points.
