Kidneys are located on either side of your spine, under your ribs, behind your belly and against the back muscles, which are responsible for removing body waste and maintaining the balance of the body through keeping the composition of blood.

The human kidneys are located in the abdominal cavity, one on each side of the spine below the diaphragm, where they are located at a slightly oblique angle behind the peritoneum.
