Uric acid is produced during the breakdown of a chemical called purine.
So foods which are high in uric acid are the same foods with high purine content which includes:-
- wild game, such as deer.
- trout, tuna, haddock, sardines and anchovies.
- excess alcohol.
- high-fat foods, dairy products, and red meat.
- organ meats as liver.
- sugary foods.
